I've watched almost every video about how to do it since barton told me. This short throw shifter enables you to change gears with ease, providing about 44 percent throw reduction. Now just follow these from bottom to top to install the new shifter
If you are a technical guy, torque the 4 floor pan bolts down to 105 inch pounds (** not foot pounds **)
I've never tested out a challenger with the pedal commander installed, but most of the videos from people with a manual say it's eliminated some of what i'm talking about. Once you have the retainer removed you can install the leather boot on the new shifter There is a groove at the base of the shifter and you need to tighten the tie wrap tight enough to hold. Different cars and shifters may have specific installation steps I think the 2016 scat pack shifter is adequate but yet i think there is room for some improvement Really thinking about getting either the mopar short. The tick shifter is good
